once again

I am back, once again. Currently on break from school, which has given me extra time to blog about where my mind is right now. I have already considered writing essays and short stories to kill boredom. I have succeeded on the essay but not so much on short stories. I need some more creative imagination. I don't have much to say really but here to share some inspiration and what is new with me. Here we go.

Not only am I having a serious crush on this girl (for about four years now), but also lusting after her outfit and hunting for those Karen Walker sunnies.

i got pierced

Satisfied. Definitely getting more. I'm thinking of getting my left lobe and tragus done next. I'm a little worried with the latter.

Doutzen

Drooling over this editorial for Vogue UK. Doutzen is already a mother yet she manages to keep her body amazing.
I'm not even a mother but my body is nothing compared to her. She's the shit and I'm just shitty.
Just kidding. I'm not that shitty.

who the heck am i?

Kimberly Ariete, 20, Los Angeles. I have a strong affinity for romantic lingerie, art and literature, beds and being naked and being lazy, perfumes, tea (I love Twinning’s earl grey), and expensive things. I like to write and draw. I just wish I was more educated on both subjects. I enjoy being in the water. I was probably a fish or a mermaid in my other life. I love watching films. Three favorites are Amélie, A Swedish Love Story, and Adrift. Books that had great effect on me are The Catcher in the Rye and The Great Gatsby. A few favorite designers are Hedi Slimane, Phoebe Philo, Martin Margiela, Olivier Rousteing, Olivier Theyskens, and Alexander Wang. I don't blog as much, but in my spare time I try to.

NYFW Spring 2013 favorites

I decided this year that instead of blogging about at least five designers a day, I'll just wait for the fashion week to finish and then pick my favorites. So, that's what I'm exactly doing.
The shows this week haven't been very impressive. Only a few stood out to me, which left me disappointed. Here they are alphabetically. *drum roll*

Alexander Wang

Band of Outsiders

Marc Jacobs

Marchesa

Oscar de la Renta

Proenza Schouler

Rag & Bone

Rodarte

The Row

Theyskens' Theory

Ultimate favorites would have to be Theyskens' Theory, Alexander Wang, and Rodarte. These three never fail.
